The government of Macedonia presented its Decade Presidency Plan for 2011-2012 at the 20th International Steering Committee Meeting in Prague on June 27-28, 2011. During the coming year, the Macedonian Presidency will pay special attention to establishing coordination between activities carried out under the Decade and related European Union efforts.
At the 20th International Steering Committee Meeting in Prague on June 27-28, 2011, the Czech Republic formally handed over the Presidency of the Decade of Roma Inclusion to Macedonia. The Macedonian Decade Presidency, which officially begins on July 1, will last until June 30, 2012, after which Croatia will assume the rotating Presidency.
Priorities
During the ISC Meeting, the Macedonian government presented its Presidency Plan for the coming year. During the coming year, the Presidency will ll pay special attention to establishing coordination between activities carried out under the Decade and related European Union efforts. In line with this, Macedonia has established “a matrix-like and multi-dimensional system of priorities” for its Presidency, as represented in the below diagram.
