The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) and MEP Viktória Mohácsi invite applications for a three-month internship at the European Parliament in Brussels from September 17 to December 15, 2007. The internship provides professional training, direct working contact with ALDE staff members, MEPs and European institutions, as well as other opportunities.
Applicants for the internship should have good written and oral English communication skills, and knowledge of French is an asset. Knowledge of Romanes also constitutes an advantage. Candidates should be well informed about human rights issues and should be knowledgeable about the situation of Roma in Europe, European Roma organizations and Roma politics in the EU.
