"A Roma Journey," a new virtual exhibition from the European Library, provides a variety of content about the rich cultural heritage of Roma across Europe. The exhibition includes a unique collection of full-text books, rare manuscripts, photographs, paintings, sound recordings and videos. Rarities on offer include traditional songs and tales, letters exploring the experiences of a Roma family in Scandinavia, and the first ever Romani-Serbian-German dictionary, which was written in a concentration camp during World War II.

The European Library is a free service that offers access to the resources of European national libraries, both digital (books, posters, maps, sound recordings, videos, etc.) and bibliographical. Quality and reliability are guaranteed by the 48 collaborating libraries.

European Library partners are all members of the Conference of European National Librarians (CENL), a foundation that aims to increase and reinforce the role of national libraries in Europe.
