The conference was one of the final activities of the three-year "Roma Women Empowerment" regional project implemented by CARE North-West Balkans within the framework of the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005-2015, in partnership with Roma women’s nongovernmental organizations from the region. The project was financially supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CARE Norway Telethon Fund.
