An exhibition of photos from the Chachipe Youth photography contest (http://photo.romadecade.org) will open on June 11, 2010 at the Ancien Cinéma Café-Club (23, Grand Rue) in Vianden, Luxembourg. The exhibition will be on display for three weeks.
Chachipe Youth, an international photography contest for young people between the ages of 12 and 25, was a sequel to the successful Chachipe contest held in 2007. (Chachipe means truth, reality or right in Romanes.) The contest invited young people to use photography to present how they see Roma and their lives. The contest had three categories: “My Street, My Neighborhood,” "My Colorful Life," and "What Is Wrong?"
