Come to the Gödör Klub and see how a team of volunteers and children from a Hungarian Roma settlement are working together to make life more colourful for a segregated community in Hungary.
Our model is an experiment in which we are using arts and creative learning to fight the tough conditions faced by those living in poverty and segregation. We are now organising an interactive event to show how our model works in practice:
A programme lasting the whole afternoon involving an exhibition of the children's photos, a stage performance by the children, and documentaries and movies featuring members of the community, as well as plenary discussions of integration, racism, education, and related topics, together with displays of arts and crafts, and music and drama activities involving the children.
Come and meet us there - Bring your friends and family!
The attached programme and the event itself is in Hungarian - but don't let that dissuade you - our message is clear!
