Presentations from the conference on “Decent Work for Roma,” held in Skopje on December 1-2, 2011, are now available in the Decade Presidency section of this website.

The overall aim of the conference was to present current employment policies and the extent to which these have contributed to reducing unemployment among Roma in the Decade of Roma Inclusion countries. It examined the impact of the economic and financial crisis, and sougth to identify good practices and the measures necessary for their continued application. 

"Decent Work for Roma" was organized by the Roma Democratic Development Association SONCE and supported by the Decade Trust Fund, the government of Macedonia, the United Nations Development Program, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the Internationl Organization for Migration.
