This report from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) presents policy makers and the broader public with a review of ethnic data collection policies and practices in Europe, as well as an analysis of the situation in Slovakia. Authors draw a set of conclusions and recommendations from a comparative analysis of the debates, strategic policy documents and legislations in three contexts, namely European, Slovak and that of selected EU countries. The UNDP report, available at right, is to serve as a useful source of information for combating poverty, social exclusion and discrimination.
