Elections to the European Parliament are approaching. They will be held in all 28 member states of the European Union between 22 and 25 May 2014, and it's a crucial moment to increase the level of political participation and representation of ethnic and religious minorities, including Roma. 

The third Roma summit, held in Brussels on 4 April 2014, took stock of progress made on Roma inclusion in the European Union since the last Roma summit in 2010. Going local on Roma inclusion both in the EU as well as in enlargement countries was the central focus of the summit.
