The Roma Education Fund announces an open call for applications for a position on the National Selection Board for the REF Scholarship Program for Hungary.


The Roma Education Fund announces an open call for applications for two positions on the National Selection Board for the REF Scholarship Program for Hungary.

The position is a short-term consultancy-based activity and subject to renewal.


Required skills, knowledge and experience

Candidates must:
 
  • Hold an MA, PhD or equivalent degree
  • Be citizens of Hungary
  • Have at least two years of experience in the academic field or the NGO/GO field and have good knowledge of the Hungarian educational system
  • Have excellent writing and oral skills in English and Hungarian
  • Be willing to devote a considerable amount of time to familiarizing themselves with the applications/reports
  • Be able to work in a multiethnic environment
  • Have good knowledge of issues related to access to higher education for minorities in the region
 
Having knowledge of Roma education issues represents an advantage.
