REF Seeks Volunteer Editors and Proofreaders

2010.07.07

The Roma Education Fund in Budapest seeks native English speakers to assist with its communications activities on a voluntary basis.

Please note that, due to the enthusiastic response to this announcement, REF is no longer seeking volunteers. (July 19, 2010)

The Roma Education Fund (REF) seeks native English speakers who are passionate about volunteering for a good cause to assist with its communications activities.

Volunteers are needed to do editing and proofreading or even to write articles related to Roma education based on available research and the activities of REF and its partners. REF seeks regular help of up to 4-5 hours per week, ideally. Volunteers can work from home. While volunteers living in Budapest would be needed for some assignments, other work could be completed over the internet. REF welcomes expressions of interest from anyone who has the appropriate skills and is willing to help.

If you are interested in volunteering, please send an e-mail message to Erzsebet Bader (ebader@romaeducationfund.org), specifying how much time you would be able to commit to volunteering.

REF is the leading organization in Europe working on Roma education issues. With its headquarters in Budapest, REF promotes the social inclusion of Roma in 16 countries. For more information, see www.romaeducationfund.org.
